About us...

Claire Dimock Children's Centre (formerly Uranium Nursery School) is a not for profit daycare that has been in operation for over 20 years in Elliot Lake.  We employ qualified Early Childhood educators and support staff.  We also have a volunteer Board of Directors made up of parents and community members.

Our daycare is located in a former school, which gives us a capacity for 132 children; 7 classrooms, 1 staff/boardroom, and 3 offices.  All meals are homemade daily in our kitchen following the Canada Health Food Guide.

We hold many fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for extracurricular activities for the children.  In the summer, the older kids get to go to Science North for the day.  Other times, the children travel to local museums, fire station, parks, farms and more.

We are also supported by ADSAB.

From their website:
